1 RULES
1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing. [See appendix F]
1.2 The Yachting New Zealand Safety Regulations Part shall apply.
1.3 Appendix T will apply for Protests where only a Rule of Part 2, or Rule 31 is alleged to have been broken.
2 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
2.1 The regatta is open to Kites that comply with the International Kite Racing Class, and Foil.
2.2 Eligible Kiters may enter online at New Zealand Kitefoil Racing Facebook page in either the Open Division (2 laps) or Green Fleet divison (1 lap)

NOTICE OF RACE HYDROFOIL WANAKA 15th – 17th January 2018
HYDROFOIL WANAKA is a kite hydrofoil racing regatta hosted by the Wanaka Yacht Club in conjunction with the New Zealand Kite Racing Association. It will be run from Monday 15th January – Wednesday 17th January 2018 on Lake Wanaka, Otago, South Island, New Zealand.
ENTRANTS Entry is open to New Zealand and International Kite Hydrofoilers. New Zealand entrants must be a 2018 financial member of the NZKRA. International competitors must be a current member of their countries kite racing association affiliated to the IKA. Hydrofoilers new to racing are encouraged to enter as this is a great opportunity to learn and experience the thrill of kite foil racing.
RACE PLAN The plan is have two days with 6 races each day and one day with 3 races and a distance race around Mou Tapu of approximately 12nm. Course lengths will be set so the winner should finish with a target time of 10 minutes. Ma...

To all high performance sailing classes come and enjoy a day of exciting record breaking sailing around Rangitoto in the Waitemata Harbour. Windy location, challenging conditions, fast and fun!
Briefing, Safety Meeting and Sign On, Kohimarama Sailing Club at 10am on Saturday 13th April 2017. (backup day’s 14th, May 2017)
Launching Kohi Beach or Torpedo Bay (depending on wind direction & craft), Bean Rock for 11am start.

Please note racing may be extended until 4pm on the day should conditions require delayed starting.
All going well there will be a Twin Tip Kiteboarding Drag Race in the harbor between two set points at 4pm. Prizes for the Winner, Biggest Crash and Most Spectacular Downwind Jump.

The New Zealand Kite Foilboard Nationals Championships is being hosted by the Takapuna Boating Club. The event will be run over 3 days. Saturday 4th Feb to Monday 6th Feb. Registration 0900 to 1100 at the boat club. Entry Fee is $120. The Notice of Race will be published shortly.

Kite Foil Racing is being hosted by the Takapuna Boating Club in conjunction with other classes. The number of races and course will be given at the briefing at 11am. Warning signal Race 1 1200hrs. Entry fee is $15. Entry is on the day at the Takapuna Boating Club Rooms on the beach.

It's on again ladies and gentlemen! After last years great success we are going one larger for Auckland's innaugral Anzac Challenge. For ANY and ALL sailing craft to take out the top spot and fastest time around Rangitoto!

Start: 1100 hours first possible start.
Start Line: Between the Starboard channel marker of Bean Rock and Port channel marker of West Bastion Reef.
Rounding Rangitoto: Head NE from start for Motuihe Channel, pass East of Motutapu, head through Rakino Channel, round Billy Goat Point in the north of Motutapu and straight down round the outside of McKenzie Bay reef. After rounding follow south back to the start/finish line.
